It being Sunday, I of course baked all day long.
During the winter, baking in our apartment is a wonderful thing.
In the spring/summer it is not.
I had my oven on for four hours straight and it turned our apartment into an inferno.
It's eleven o'clock at night, and the heat is still pestering us.
I've opened all of the windows in hopes that it will cool off.
This heat is making me think wistfully of Alaska.
If only I could borrow some of its frigidity.

Well, maybe not that much of its frigidity.
