Mud pie

Today, I made mud pie in honor of John's birthday.

(he is my youngest brother-in-law)

His birthday was actually in November, but the cake I made that day was awful and I've been looking for an excuse to make another cake/pie/blob of sugar for awhile now.

By the way, if anyone ever tries to feed you crock-pot cake, run in the opposite direction as fast as you can because that stuff is GROSS.

Mud pie, on the other hand, is super delicious.

All I do for the recipe is layer devil's food cake, chocolate pudding, whipped cream, and mashed up Oreos in a glass dish. My brothers-in-law can't get enough of it.
