I woke up to this this morning:
As beautiful as Colorado is, Nebraska is just... breathtaking.
You're probably laughing.
But I am dead serious.
We followed a storm all the way to Omaha.
Of course, I was obsessed with taking pictures.
The road was flat and straight - just like my hometown.
Driving into the state gave me an overwhelming reminder of where I came from, who I am - a West Texan.
I love the midwest plains. The big skies, the rows of corn, the cattle.
I think I will (learn to) like Nebraska.
