We've been needing a new kitchen table ever since we moved into the new love shack, and after weeks of online searching for the perfect table, we finally gave up and decided to go to IKEA/Six Flags Over Furniture.
I don't know what we were thinking by not going there in the first place.
Actually, I don't care for much of IKEA's style. It's too modern and futuristic for me. Much of their furniture makes me feel like I'm in a spaceship. Too many hard angles and bright colors.
BUT.
We did find the perfect not-too-sleek-looking kitchen table and it was oh so affordable.
Where else can you find the perfect kitchen table, 1$ hot cinnamon rolls, and Swedish chocolate all in one place? NOWHERE, I tell you.
We even bought the munchkin a present so he/she wouldn't feel left out of the IKEA experience.

LOVE the table! I agree on most of the stuff there being too futuristic, but if you look you can find affordable options that blend in nicely with other styles too.
