If I were a rich man(dar)

It's been one of those weeks.

The not-so-goods:
I received zero credit on a midterm paper that I dedicated many hours to.
The washing machine keeps eating my clothes.
The refrigerator is leaking brown stuff and is turning off periodically.
Paul flunked his chemistry test that he's been studying for for two weeks.
Our heater is broken so my toes are permafrosted.
Oh, and did I mention that we have a sewage lake for a front yard? A pipe burst and is spewing waste. . . everywhere.

I've been moping the past two days. This morning I came across this video. I know we're still a month away from Thanksgiving, but it helped put things into perspective for me today.

The oh-so-goods:
I have a marvelous work being made in my belly right now. A special little person whose care Heavenly Father entrusted to us. I am undeserving of such a blessing.
I married a sweet man who cherishes me and brings me BYU bookstore turtle candies when I am having a bad week.
I have a roof over my head, a warm bed, and food in my (broken) refrigerator.
I live in a free country where I can write in a blog, have an opinion, and vote.
There are more. Lots more. But I need to write a paper, so I'm cutting it short.

This week stinks like my front yard, but I don't need to be a rich man(dar) to be happy. Yes, that is a Fiddler On The Roof reference mixed with Paul's pet name for me when he needs a hug. Or a sandwich.
