I never want to forget the little stork bite on her forehead that is so perfect to plant kisses on
or how her belly button pokes out
or how round her little bottom is.
I never want to forget how her eyelashes rest on her chubby cheeks or how soft her hair feels after a warm bath.
I never want to forget how her tiny hands grab my fingers
or how she kicks her feet when I tell her how much I love her.
I never want to forget her little brown birth mark on her tummy
or how her eyes that are shaped so much like my own crease as she yawns.
I never want to forget this time in her life; it is so short, yet so sweet. My little flower is growing and changing every day and sometimes when I'm in the middle of washing dishes or hanging laundry, I look over at her and wish that I had more time with her before she is packing for college.
