Most little kids cry when placed on Santa's lap. I was fully expecting this. I wanted this. I really wanted this. Terrible mother of the year award goes to me for wanting my kid to scream on Santa's lap. I had my camera posed and ready to capture this hilarious, screaming Christmas fest on film. But no. My inquisitive little hobbit was more interested in running her fingers along his velvety sleeve and tugging on his curly beard than in screaming her head off. I have a whole year to scare some stranger danger into her. We'll try again in twelve months.
Her hat is adorable though!! Cool mom points for getting her that :)
