Patience

As a little girl, I was always extremely impatient.

My grandfather always told me that "patience is a virtue"

I always replied, "yes, but it is not one of mine"

This always made him chuckle.

But I am not a little girl anymore.

I am a big girl now and I should know better.

But I have waited.

I have waited, and waited, and waited.

Very patiently, I might add.

I have been counting down to our wedding for 221 days.

We still have 99 to go.

I have been battling with patience lately.

I keep repeating to myself that patience is a virtue.

But patience is very difficult.
